"Release The Manhater" Campaign
|
For a movie to succeed it needs two things--an interested audience and
someone to get it to the public. If the movie is good the first part will
take care of itself. For the second part we'll need a distributor, thus
was born the "Release The Manhater" campaign. We're harnessing the
numbers and energy of the people, asking you to help us promote this movie
and get it released--tell your friends, post news of Manhater on web sites,
talk about us in chat rooms, and considering buying a pre-release
t-shirt and proudly wearing it where the sun shines.
This campaign will continue until Manhater has a distributor, culminating
in your ability to buy the Manhater DVD or see it in theatres.
Meanwhile we'll work on festival play and perhaps public screenings--watch the
News page of the Manhater site. We'll also
be posting more to this web site--putting up trailers, interview
clips and a music video (please read the Call For
Submissions page).
So if you want to see Manhater, please tell your
friends about it. Tell horror/thriller film fans, tell indie movie fans, tell people who'd like to
let out some steam about their ex's (be prepared to do some listening there, but then
ask them to order a shirt).
You can even tell people who don't like horror films because, well, you
want to see it. From these humble seeds we'll grow; let see how big this
puppy can get.
Release The Manhater T-Shirt
To help our post-production cash flow and make sure you get a
product you really want, we're starting our shirt sales by
taking pre-orders. All we're asking for at this point is your
opinion--tell us what shirt type, color and style you would like.
Please do not send any money or payment at this time. Once we've collected
a few hundred orders we'll have the shirts made and then post a proper order
page with payment via Paypal.
The shirt has been designed as a call from our growing army of fans to
movie distributors out there. And if that's not important to you,
maybe you'll just like the phrase. Either way--power to the people:
